Custom web software,
built and run in-house.

The KIIT Digital cell writes, hosts and maintains some major web applications used across the KIIT Group of Institutions — one team, on campus infrastructure, with zero vendors between a department and the people who wrote its code.

One in-house cell, building for the whole group.

The same team, the same stack and the same infrastructure serve a university, a medical institute and a school for indigenous students.

KIIT

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology

A deemed-to-be university in Bhubaneswar, with schools spanning engineering, management, law, computing and the sciences and a lot more. Most of our day-to-day systems serve its students and staff.

KIMS

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences

The group's medical college and teaching hospital. Its services run around the clock, so anything we build for it is designed to stay available always.

KISS

Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences

A deemed-to-be university providing free education to indigenous students from kindergarten through to postgraduate study, with its own administrative needs.

Four things stay in-house, on purpose.

Keeping the whole chain inside the university is what makes the response times possible — and what keeps institutional data on institutional machines.

01 — Build

Requirements, interface and code all happen inside the cell. No external agency ever touches the source, and nothing arrives as a black box that nobody here can open.

We sit with the department, map the process that actually runs today, and cut it down to what a system can carry honestly — then build against that rather than a generic template.

02 — Host

Everything runs on KIIT-owned infrastructure inside the campus, with our own monitoring and nightly backups retained on site.

Institutional data never leaves machines the university controls.

03 — Maintain

Patches, feature requests and academic-calendar changes are handled by the same engineers who built the system, so a fix during a busy week takes hours rather than a procurement cycle.

When the calendar moves, the code moves with it.

04 — Support

No ticket resale, no vendor queue, no waiting on an SLA window. Access requests, issue reports and change requests all land with the team that can act on them.

If you work anywhere inside the KIIT Group, one address is the whole escalation path.

What we build

Custom web software and web applications.

Everything here is written, hosted and maintained inside KIIT — from small departmental tools to systems the whole group depends on.

In-house01

Built to a department's process

Custom web software

Systems written for the way a department actually works — the registers, approvals and records that no off-the-shelf product fits without a fight.

In-house02

Used every day across campus

Web applications

Everyday tools for students and staff — booking, requests, enquiries and records — running on campus infrastructure and maintained by the same team.

The whole point

Zero vendors.
One team.

Every line of code behind these applications was written inside KIIT, runs on KIIT machines, and is answered for by people you can walk over and talk to.
